WORCESTER KEEN FOR KIDDY MOVE

Blue Square Bet North side Worcester City have revealed they are keen to move in with near-neighbours Kidderminster Harriers.

City are playing their final season at St George's Lane and have been contemplating a number of options while they finalise a new stadium, which has been dealt a blow.

Kidderminster's Aggborough is seen as the favoured option with Loyals Chairman Anthony Hampson saying: “Kidderminster [their ground] is up and running and ready to go. We will discuss it with the supporters then make our decision.”

When asked about the prospect of a new stadium, Hampson added: “It's not looking good to be honest. We're having no joy with the development partners about moving the project forward and it's looking rather gloomy.

“It comes down to the movement of a bridleway that straddles right through the proposed site and that could take many months.”
