West Ham United are reportedly wanting to convert the Olympic Stadium, if they are awarded with the lease, into a multi-purpose venue.
When the Hammers' proposed move into the stadium was made public, many fans had issues with the inclusion of a running track around the pitch, and other sports fans were concerned with the legacy the stadium would provide if the track was removed. It is reported that West Ham have devised the perfect solution - retractable seating covering the running track during football matches and concerts.
The inclusion of the extra seating would also boost the stadium's capacity to around 100,000 for certain events, and the East London club has proposed to offer thousands of sensibly priced football tickets.
West Ham United refused to comment on the reports.
