Tottenham Hotspur have named the company that oversaw the construction of their state-of-the-art training facility to take charge of their new stadium plans.

M Anderson Construction will be responsible for the foundation and structural build of the project, in a deal worth £50million.

Spurs' new stadium will be built in Northumberland Park, adjacent to their existing home White Hart Lane.

A letter sent from Savills to Haringey Council read: "The contract has been made with M Anderson Construction Ltd and the sum for the works is £49.773.727."

Despite the plans going ahead, the club will still have to seek a temporary venue away from their current base for one season, after it was confirmed construction would not be complete in time for the 2017/18 season.

Wembley, the Olympic Stadium and stadium:mk have all been touted as potential destinations for Spurs’ home matches, but no decision has yet been reached.
