SYDNEY CHANGE GROUND

Sydney FC and star striker Alessandro Del Piero have moved their second home game of the A-League campaign.

The move will see them leave their home of Sydney Football Stadium for the 83,500-capacity former Olympic Stadium. Officials have stated that turf replacement has forced Sydney FC's hand but the move will give the club almost 38,500 extra to sell giving many more fans the opportunity to see the league's main attraction.

Italian World Cup winning forward Del Piero signed a two-year contract with Sydney in September which saw his 19-year stay with European giants Juventus come to an end. Whilst with The Old Lady he secured his place in the history books becoming the club's record goal scorer with 290 and leading appearance maker wearing the famous black and white striped kit 705 times.
