Swansea City are looking to expand their Liberty Stadium, according to a club director.
The Welsh club, who are currently playing in their second Premier League campaign, announced a £15.9million net return for the six months up to the end of November 2012, and that is almost £10m more than the same period in the previous year.
“The funds are invaluable, not only to maintain Premier League status but for expansion of the Liberty Stadium,” finance director Don Keefe explained.
The Liberty Stadium's attendance currently stands at 20,532 but it is believed that plans to increase that have already been submitted.
