A sprinkler malfunction at the Sun Life Stadium delayed a National Football League last night.
In the third quarter of Miami Dolphin's home game against Seattle Seahawks, the sprinkler system at the Sun Life Stadium turned on, leading players and officials to scatter in an attempt to escape the spray of water.
A Dolphins spokesman revealed the cause for the unusual scenes was a computer glitch, saying the computer was erroneously working on its Saturday schedule.
Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson said the incident didn't effect his side: "I think they’re used to the rain."
The sprinklers were quickly turned off, and players towelled off before the action resumed.
Miami receiver Davone Bess said: "I never saw that before, not even in high school. It was pretty cool."
