The new Spartak Stadium in the Russian capital of Moscow is due to open on 24th July 2014.
Two months before the official opening date the multi-purpose arena is almost complete after construction began on the site of Tushino Airport in December 2010.
With a capacity of 47,000, the venue is part of Russia's commitment to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the stadium could host the opening match of the tournament.
It will be home to Russian top division side Spartak Moscow who have never had their own stadium, being forced to host matches in various stadia throughout the capital.
