SARACENS ANNOUNCE STADIUM OPENER

Saracens' new Copthall Stadium will host a match for the first time on 16th February 2013 against Exeter Chiefs.

The redevelopment of the stadium, turning it into a 10,000-capacity arena with a synthetic pitch, is yet to be completed. However, the Sarries have revealed they will play five Premiership games there next season, despite previously stating they hoped to move in before the end of 2012.

Prior to the move, the club will play their home matches at their current home Vicarage Road as well as Twickenham, Wembley and Stadium MK, while two other matches will be played "further afield".

A club spokesman said: "We're grateful to our loyal season ticket holders and supporters for their patience."
