Newcastle United look set to sign a deal with payday lender Wonga.
There are reports circulating that the club will put pen to paper on a shirt and stadium sponsorship deal thought to be worth around £8 million.
The agreement will last for three years and will start from the beginning of the 2013/14 season.
It will see the iconic St James' Park re-named again, to the Wonga Stadium, after it was originally re-named the Sports Direct @ St James' Park, followed by the Sports Direct Arena.
Wonga already has a sponsorship foothold in football, with their names appearing on the front of Blackpool's shirts.
