A US Soccer League side based in Oklahoma City are looking to build a new stadium, with their sights set on a place in the MLS.

The team who were awarded their USL Pro franchise in the last few months are still without a team name, with them set to play their inaugural season at a temporary home stadium.

The designers of the new stadium already have a history within the city, having already built the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for the Oklahoma City Redhawks.

Chief Executive of the designers Bob Funk Jr commented: "We look forward to designing a stadium that can serve the needs of our USL Pro team, and also expand based on our long-term goal of bringing an MLS team to Oklahoma City.”

Initial plans see the new arena with a capacity of 7,000 seats, rising to 20,000 should a place in the MLS be granted.
