New York City have confirmed that they will play their first Major League Soccer season at the Yankee Stadium.
The new MLS franchise - who will make their debut in 2015 alongside Orlando as the league expands to 21 teams - will groundshare with baseball giants New York Yankees.
For the soccer matches, the upper deck of the ballpark's ground will be closed off, reducing the capacity from 49,642 to just under 33,500.
Co-owned by Manchester City and the Yankees, the soccer club are still having problems finding a site to build a new ground.
