NEW COPENHAGEN ARENA SECURES NAMING RIGHTS

An arena development in Copenhagen has secured a long-term naming-rights deal with beer makers Royal Unibrew.

Although the fee has not been disclosed, the money made from the deal has been re-invested in the construction project.

Being built at a cost of €134 million, the Royal Arena will seat up to 15,000 spectators and is due to be completed in the second half of 2016.

The venue will mainly host ice hockey and handball matches in addition to music concerts.
