Hayes and Yeading have received a boost with chairman Tony O'Driscoll being allowed to find new builders to work on their new stadium at Beaconsfield Road.
The Skrill South outfit currently play their matches at Woking's Kingfield Stadium but harbour ambitions of moving home and into their new venue.
Work was brought to a standstill a number of months ago with United in a dispute with M.C. Contracting but, after speaking to his lawyers, O'Driscoll has been given permission to seek an alternative contractor.
He told the Gazette: “I’ve got a meeting with some builders on Thursday at the football club.
“They’ve already looked at what needs to be done and they are now putting costs to those elements to let me know on Thursday. It’s good news.”
