FRESH PLANS FOR PETERBOROUGH UNITED'S LONDON ROAD END

Peterborough United are hoping to rebuild the London Road End of their stadium.

The League 1 club were planning on giving the standing terrace a facelift but they have now revealed they are hoping to expand the end, making it seated.

Posh are in the process of developing the opposite end of the ground - the Moy's End - and that should open in November after it was rebuilt with financial input from Peterborough City Council.

The club will seek support from the council over the propsed changes at the London Road End.

Chief executive Bob Symns said: "We're looking to make the London Road End bigger - approximately 4,000 seats.

"It would be council-led. It will depend on the money being available for it to be a sustainable end."
