Saint-Etienne will no longer be forced to play their opening league game behind closed doors after successfully winning an appeal against the ruling.
The measures were originally put in place following crowd trouble during Les Verts' home game against Lyon late last season.
However, Etienne will still be forced to close certain blocks of the stadium for their opening three home encounters. These include the areas of the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard which house the 'Green Angels' supporters club, a group blamed for the crowd trouble.
Les Verts will begin the 2013/14 campaign with a home tie against EA Guingamp on 17th August.
