DODGER STADIUM GEARS UP FOR NHL 2014 STADIUM SERIES

The Dodgers Stadium, home to Major League Baseball franchise the Los Angeles Dodgers, is preparing for the National Hockey League’s 2014 Stadium Series visit.

Stretching across the outfield will be an ice hockey rink, where the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks will compete in the first of four regular season NHL outdoor games.

The ballpark will also house a beach volleyball court on the left field, a performance stage right field and an inline skating area around home plate for the event to be staged on 25th January.

On the 26th January, the Series will move to the fellow MLB venue the Yankee Stadium with the New York Rangers at the New Jersey Devils, before the Rangers are then away at New York Islanders at the same venue three days later.

Chicago Bears' home ground, Soldier Field, will host the final match on 1st March, when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Pittsburgh Penguins.
