A tentative deal has been reached which would see a $300million dollar stadium built in the Buzzard Point area of Washington for D.C. United.
The deal for the 20,000 seater arena comes after an agreement was reached between the city's leaders and the club ending a 10-year hunt for a new home.
D.C. United have played at the RFK Stadium since their formation in 1996, however the ground is said to lose money every year.
There is still a long way to go until construction work begins with the plan hinging on the completion of other development projects across the city.
