Bath Rugby have released images showing how their new stadium at The Rec will look.
A team of architects were appointed to the project earlier this year and they have produced designs which the club say city of Bath can be proud of.
Bath Rugby's in-house architect, Simon Pugh-Jones said: "We believe the design expresses and celebrates the festival spirit of match days; brings new life and activity to the Recreation Ground and the riverside, and that draws from, and contributes to, the rich cultural and historic context of the City.”
The designs include a complete redevelopment of the West Stand and North Terrace and it is also proposed that the East Stand will be covered and continue to be a seasonal stand that is removed each year.
The removal of the stand will allow the ground to be used for other sport, leisure and cultural activities.
The South Stand at the venue will also be extended.
