The Wales national football team will play two internationals at the homes of Cardiff and Swansea City Football Club.
Cardiff City Stadium will host a friendly international against Australia on Wednesday 10 August 2011, the first time the nations have met on the football pitch. The 26,828-seater stadium, which cost £48m to build, opened in 2009 and will be great venue to host such an exciting encounter.
Liberty Stadium will host the final home fixture in Wales’ Euro 2012 qualifying campaign against Switzerland on Friday 7 October. The 20,532-seater venue will by then already have hosted some of the world’s best players as Swansea tackle on their first season in the Premier League.
