Aberdeen Football Club will soon hear a verdict on their ambitious plans for a new stadium on the outskirts of the city.
The Dons hope to build a 21,000-seater venue, costing nearly £40m, at Loirston Loch in the south of the city.
A city council pre-determination hearing is expected to hear objections against the plans, but no actual decision will be made at the meeting as Scottish ministers will have the final verdict.
Aberdeen is looking for permission for the new stadium which would include a gym, a club shop, museum and cafe.
Plans also include plan is for the whole facility to be lit at night by a red glow.
Stewart Milne, Dons chairman, previously said: "We hope to get planning consent from the council in February.
"It will then be called in by the Scottish Office and we would hope for a decision before the break-up of parliament next year, around April."
The application follows a public consultation.
