The Millennium Stadium turned blue to celebrate World Diabetes Day.
On Sunday 14 November, the charity lit the stadium blue to mark the day as part of the International Diabetes Federation’s (IDF) Blue Monument Challenge, which lights up landmarks worldwide.
Previous landmarks lit blue for the day include the Sydney Opera House, the London Eye and New York’s Empire State Building.
Dai Williams, National Director of Diabetes UK Cymru, said: "We were really delighted to celebrate World Diabetes Day by lighting the Millennium Stadium blue and would like to thank the stadium’s management for enabling us to do so.
"As one of Wales’ most iconic landmarks, the stadium was an excellent ambassador for Wales in the worldwide Blue Monument Challenge to celebrate the day.
"Diabetes is increasing throughout Wales and we hope to have raised awareness about the condition by celebrating World Diabetes Day in this way."
The theme of this year's World Diabetes Day was promoting physical activity.
