Chesterfield Football Club is to host a special auction of Saltergate memorabilia at the b2net Stadium.

139 years of memories will go under the hammer at an auction on the pitch this Sunday 13 June 2010 from 12 noon.

Items likely to be included are club signage, corner flags, goal posts, goal nets, dug outs, dressing room items, seats, turnstiles, signed shirts, even the boardroom table and much, much more.

Entry is by catalogue priced £3 available from the Spireites Club Shop and viewing is from 9.30am until 11.30am.

Chesterfield's director of marketing, Alan Stevenson, said: "This unique auction is a chance for supporters to be amongst the bidders to proudly own a bit of Saltergate history."

The auction is part of the final ceremony before the Spireites move into their new b2net stadium for the 2010/2011 season.

Their official opening match will be a friendly against local rivals Derby County on 24 July 2010.
