AZERBAIJAN TO GET NEW 60,000 SEATER STADIUM

Youth and Sports Minister in Azerbaijan, Azad Rahimov has announced that a new 60,000 all-seater  stadium will be built to allow more profile events to be staged in the country.

The stadium will be built in the Boyuk Shor settlement in the area of Baku and the construction costs will be financed by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).

Baku will also boast a swimming pool complex which will have three pools meeting international standards to allow world class competitions to take place.
