STADIUMS SELECTED FOR TURKEY'S EURO 2016 BID

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) have announced the selection of nine stadiums in eight host cities for their bid to hold the European Championships in 2016.

Six new stadiums are set to be built if Turkey's bid to host the tournament is successful. The new build sites will include; Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Eskisehir, Izmir and Konya.

Three existing stadiums; the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, Seyrantepe Turk Telekom Arena, which is currently undergoing construction and  Kadir Has Stadium in Kayseri.

The TFF will face strong competition from France and Italy in securing the bid to host EURO 2016 with the host country decision coming in May next year.
